Do you accept Enhanced Primary Care Patients?
We accept Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans provided by your general practitioner (GP). An EPC plan allows GP's to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, including patients with these conditions who require multidisciplinary, team-based care from a GP and at least two other health or care providers. Clients are eligible for a rebate under the Medicare Scheme. Once you have completed your consultation, we ask that you provide payment for the full amount, whether it is an initial consultation or a subsequent consultation. You will then be provided with a receipt which you can claim $52.95 back from Medicare. You are only eligible for 5 treatment sessions per calendar year as per the discretion of your GP.
Yes. You can claim on the day for all casual appointments. If you are purchasing a membership or pack of classes, you will need to finish your classes first before being issued with a receipt to take to your health insurer.
Can I claim my health insurance on the spot?
We bulk bill EPC consultations for Dietetics only. In order to claim this consultation, we ask that you pay the amount ($52.95) in full. We will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to Medicare and receive your re-imbursement. This is the same for Physiotherapy consultations, however you will not receive the full amount of the consultation back as we do not bulk bill these consultations.
Do you bulk bill EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) patients?
If you are new to our studio and have an injury, if you have not seen a health professional prior to participation, we do advise that you get an assessment to see if you are fit to participate in class.
If I have an injury; can I still attend Pilates?
Yes, we are trained for pre and post-natal Pilates. As a general rule, we will allow you to participate in group Pilates up until 20 weeks of pregnancy. From there, you will need to be assessed to ensure you are still safe to continue with group classes. We also have clinical Pilates where you can continue to strengthen in comfortable positions.
