Lily is one of our Remedial Massage Therapists at Kinetic Physio & Pilates. Lily has always been passionate about a career in the health industry and after working in the corporate world decided that she should follow her passion and study remedial massage. Lily has a Remedial Massage Diploma from the Australian College of Massage now called Evolve College along with a completed a Bachelor of Science
Lily is a skilled therapist who enjoys working with people from all ages and backgrounds. She is particularly skilled at taking the time to understand their individual needs so that she can provide treatment and develop a treatment plan to specifically address them.
Specialising in Remedial and Sports Massage Treatment her experience ranges from work in the clinic, corporate massage and treating elite sports teams such as Rugby Union, Rugby League, Australian Women’s Cricket Team, Australian A League teams, Australian Netball League and the Big Bash Cricket teams. Working with various clubs Lily has honed her skills in treating athletes pre and post competition.
Lily integrates a wide range of soft tissue techniques to relieve pain and help restore optimal function and wellbeing for her patients. These techniques include deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, modern cupping, myofascial release, pre-natal and relaxation massage. Additionally, she provides advice on posture, ergonomics and home-based stretching and/or strengthening exercises for optimal long-term results.
Away from the massage room, Lily enjoys spending time with her family, although mostly it’s watching her kids play cricket, basketball and football. She also enjoys going for runs, working out, the outdoors, camping and cooking.
The future is bright for Lily with her currently studying PKP kinesiology. Her aim is to work with her clients holistically - mentally, emotionally and physically so that they can be the best version of themselves.
Lily is available Tuesday and Thursday mornings and also Tuesday afternoon/evening
