OUR CLASSES

 

Our group classes consist of 7 reformer beds, making the classes feel more intimate. Although the group classes are smaller, they will still challenge you both mentally and physically. We not only challenge the muscle strength but the ability to challenge your mind as you concentrate through the movements.

Our classes run for 50 minutes with 5 minutes to cool down and stretch at the end of each session. Following one of our sessions you will really know the difference in your own body, with better posture, more tone and even increased flexibility.

OUR STYLE

Our reformer classes are different to those of other studios. At Kinetic, our reformer classes are not considered “PT on a reformer”.

Instead we offer a more low tempo class which focusses on technique whilst still challenging you physically and mentally.

We stick to the principles of Pilates to ensure you perform exercises correctly and safely to avoid injury.

MAT PILATES

Mat Pilates is very different to reformer Pilates in that it is performed equipment-free, with movements adapted to work with just your body and the floor. We also use small apparatus’ such as resistance bands, Pilates rings and others, to help increase resistance to continually challenge your muscles. Our mat classes will give you an understanding of the basic movements behind Pilates and allow you to take exercises away to replicate them at home.
